Volunteer involvement is meant to create the biggest impact with the least amount of time and commitment. We know that life gets busy and we always allow flexibility with what you choose to volunteer for and how long you want to volunteer for as well.
As of 2023, CEDAA has been running with zero employees and 23 volunteers.
Of those 23 volunteers, 83% are women and 87% are considered BIPOC.
At CEDAA, we have people who help, who research, and inspire. Our volunteers and the people we help create a community.
As of 2023, CEDAA’s volunteer workforce is comprised of 91% post-secondary students.
Students are our future and can help to make the biggest contribution to our community. With students, we can continue to be adaptable, flexible, and innovative with what we do and how we help others.
As of 2023, over 90% of our volunteer workforce were less than 30 years old.
While eating disorders and preventative health are important at any age, the perception of such illnesses is an even bigger battle.
