As defined by the National Eating Disorder Information Centre (NEDIC), eating disorders comprise a group of mental illnesses commonly characterized by an intense fixation on food that keeps affected individuals from fully enjoying life. Eating disorders are incredibly complex and diverse and may manifest themselves in an individual in unique ways.
CEDAA stands for Collaborative Eating Disorder Awareness Association. We are a Canadian-based registered charity that aims to bring support, awareness, and treatment innovation toward preventative health and eating disorders. We hope to help and support individuals. But all that starts with you! Our entire team of dedicated volunteers are the backbone of our organization, and we rely on your generosity to continue our work.
